NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center
Space Environment Technologies has partnered with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations Space Weather Prediction Center (NOAA/SWPC, formerly SEC) through a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA). Officially signed May 2, 2000 (ending in 2006). The CRADA provided the vehicle for NOAA/SEC and Space Environment Technologies to develop real-time and forecast space weather services for both the public and private sectors.
Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP)
Space Environment Technologies has a long-standing relationship with the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado (CU) for supporting the mission objectives of scientific instruments on the Galileo, UARS, TIMED, and SDO spacecraft.
Additional Collaborations, Contracts, and Subcontracts
Space Environment Technologies (SET) has contractual relations with NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center and Marshall Space Flight Center through the Living With a Star (LWS) program. SET also works closely with USAF organizations in the development of improved satellite orbit determination algorithms. SET's Chief Scientist is the U.S. Lead Delegate to the International Standards Organization (ISO) TC20/SC14/WG4 which is the working group charged with developing international standards for the space environment. SET scientific personnel are active and leading members in the professional organizations of AIAA, AGU, and COSPAR.
